How will my calls be carried and how reliably? |

All calls are routed through BWN’s Network directly using a service called Carrier Pre-Selection (CPS). Calls are directed via BT's network and local exchanges, which means that changing to BWN will not disrupt your telephone service in any way at all. |

Will I need to change my telephone equipment or telephone number? |

All your existing telephone and data transmission equipment is compatible. You will not need to change your telephone number. |

What about my line rental? |

BWN Telecom saves you 12.5% off BT’s line rental rates. Maintaining the same high level quality service & response. All on one monthly fully itemised bill. Like-for-like transfer so any extra services like Call Divert will not be affected. |

Is there a monthly charge or contract for CPS? |
 |
| |
There is no sign-up fee or any monthly charge to use our service, and in the unlikely event you decide you no longer wish to use the service you can do so by giving BWN 30 days notice in writing. |

What if anything goes wrong with my service? |

How do I access the service? |
 |
| |
Simply dial as normal. There is no change in the way you make your calls. Because of new technology, BWN now uses the BT exchange to re-route your calls through our network. This is far more reliable and easier to use than the old diallers many companies still provide. |

How will I be charged? |
 |
| |
BWN will send you a fully-itemised bill every month for your calls and line rental, any extra services you subscribe to will be billed quarterly by BT. Payment should be made to BWN by cheque or Bank transfer from invoice, strictly 30 days payment terms. |

How much will I save using BWN fixed line service? |
 |
| |
As a customer of BWN you will save in the region of 20-50% on BT standard rates, depending on your call pattern. If you make only local calls your savings will be approx 30 - 40% and if you make only national calls your savings would be approximately 45-65%. International savings of up to 90%. Line rental guaranteed savings of 12.5% on Analogue lines and higher savings on ISDN2 & ISDN30. |

Can I still use my BT Select/Star Services? |

Yes, all of the below services - if set up on your line before it is live with BWN - will not be affected: - |

I have Call Barring on my telephone line, will BWN CPS affect this? |

Unfortunately yes, this BT service is not compatible with CPS. However, if you contact BWN Customer Services on 0800 258 5252 they will be able to re-activate this service. |

Can I use the service with my digital lines? |
 |

Yes, BWN can provide the same service for ISDN, DSL, ADSL & feature lines in the same way as normal analogue lines. |
